In 1981 The Troyer Group, then named LeRoy Troyer and Associates, worked with the Taylor University board, administration, faculty and campus community to develop a Master Plan.

In 2003, The Troyer Group was once again selected to update the campus Master Plan. As before, the location and function of new facilities were addressed.
