The way we plan our communities and provide public services can literally change our lifestyles by enhancing productivity, safety, and well-being. Each one of our transportation projects aims to do this by providing contextual design solutions to real problems, bringing together a winning combination of value, safety, and user experience. We have vast expertise working with local, municipal, state and federal agencies, and private sector clients to create resilient infrastructure.

Our Transportation professionals work with and challenge clients to find root problems, driving at what their projects are truly needing to accomplish. By doing this we often save significant time and dollars while providing a better, more tailored, solution rather than only designing to meet common project requirements . We are passionate not just about design, but the right design.

Our passion for the right design is really an extension of our passion to provide the best service for our clients.

“The reality about transportation is that it’s future-oriented. If we’re planning for what we have, we’re behind the curve.”

Site / Civil Engineering

As our society continues to build and progress proper infrastructure, systems and development become of the utmost importance. We approach every project with a great sense of responsibility.

Our Site/Civil engineering expertise encompasses all aspects of land development. We are capable of accommodating a variety of project sizes and complexity levels ranging from smaller municipal projects to large scale urban mixed use developments and have even completed an 800 acre destination attraction.

We enjoy strategizing and overcoming challenging projects to provide long lasting and reliable infrastructure.

Site/Civil Services:

  • Utility Projects
  • Storm Water Systems and Facilities
  • Sanitary Sewer Design
  • Drainage Studies
  • Grading Design
  • Etc.

Every aspect of this nearly 800 acre site was planned and designed by Troyer Group civil engineers. The site presented some fun challenges with its topography, containing deep ravines and hilly Kentucky landscape. The above video gives a brief look at the engineering that was done and the scale of this site from the main entrance off KY Highway 36, to its 4,000 car parking lot, to the tram road and bridge connecting the lot to the Ark, and to the Ark attraction itself. This project is a good example that demonstrates the extent of our firm’s capabilities.

Structural Engineering

By paying the closest attention to detail, safety and quality are never compromised. We engineer to last…it’s that simple.

Having completed many bridge/highway projects as well as the largest timber structure buildings in North America, we are always ready for the next challenge. We enjoy working with public/government agencies as well as private clients, valuing relationships, always doing the right thing, and never burning bridges.

Structural Services:

  • Bridge Design
  • Bridge Rehabilitation
  • Highway Related Structures
  • Retaining Walls
  • Structural Condition Analysis
